Our Favorite Spring Eyewear Trends
By Andrea Spanik
The sunshine is here to stay, and you know what that means: new eyewear.
Because, yeah, sure, you can keep wearing the same sunglasses season after season, but if you want to pull together your look in a whole new way, a little eyewear update never hurt.
Get ready for spring with these five eyewear trends:
1) Pilot-inspired
No, we’re not referencing the standard aviators that almost everyone already has in their style lineup. This season it’s time to try out pilot-inspired shades.
With a more square frame than standard aviators, pilot-inspired sunnies feel nostalgic, cool, and slightly masculine in the best possible way.
Are you interested in trying out this trend?
2) Sporty
Do you know those shades that you used to wear as a kid that felt super cool? You know, the sporty frames that fit your face perfectly, were often tinted with color, and felt like the perfect shades for playing beach volleyball?
Well, guess what? Those sporty shades are back in style, and we just know you’re going to get plenty of use out of them. Trust us on this one.
3) Tortoiseshell
A little more interesting than your standard black or brown frames, Tortoiseshell is still an easy-to-wear neutral that will match with everything, while helping to give you a chic element to your look.
Plus, that ‘80s inspired style doesn’t hurt things either.
4) Futuristic
On the total opposite end of the spectrum from nostalgic pilot glasses and ‘80s inspired details, futuristic sunglasses are another option that will win you some style points.
Whether it be rectangular shapes, neons, or cool reflective lenses, anything that feels like something you might see while traveling to another planet is fair game.
5) Logo, logo, logo
Now is not the time to be subtle. If you’re shopping for eyewear and you’ve got the budget to do so, go with the options that show off that designer logo.
We can’t wait to see which style you decide to go with.
